Privacy

What we store
- Numbers and dates from your escrow statement (amounts, months, yes/no answers), your servicer's name, the property state and the last 4 digits of your loan number — so we can show your results and deadlines.
- A hash of your case link. We never store the link itself; if you lose it we cannot recover your case.
- Letter status (mailed/received dates, status, amount recovered) and the resulting deadlines.
- Waitlist emails, if you sign up, used only for the notice you asked for.
- Short-lived, hashed IP counters for rate limiting (deleted within two days).
What we don't store
Your name, mailing or property address, full loan number, phone number and your servicer's correspondence address are typed on the letter page and saved only in your browser's localStorage. The letter is assembled in your browser; those details are never sent to our servers. Use “Clear my details” on the letter page, or clear site data in your browser, to remove them.
Retention
- Uploaded files (when that feature launches) are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- A case is deleted after 18 months without being opened.
- “Delete everything” on your case page deletes it immediately and permanently.
Sharing
We don't sell or share your data, run ads, or use third-party analytics or scripts. The site runs on Cloudflare (Workers, D1, R2), which processes requests on our behalf.
